Born and bred in Western Australia, Hayley trained at Gail Meade Performing Arts Centre and Vogue Entertainment. At the ripe old age of 17, she moved to Melbourne to complete a Diploma in Musical Theatre at Dance World Studios and received the distinction award for the highest achievement in both her years of training.
Following this, she moved to London where she performed as a member of UnTitled Dance Company under the direction of Lukas McFarlane. A highlight of her experience with UnTitled was workshopping and presenting Lukas' first ever full length work (and subsequent film), EXPOSED.
Eventually she transitioned to working with the children on Matilda the Musical (West End) which led to a decision to return to studies. She has completed a certificate III in children's services and loves to nurture the growth of children, especially in the arts.
Currently, she is studying a Bachelor of Arts (Arts Management) at WAAPA and interning with the West Australian Ballet.
Her style is a fusion of contemporary, jazz and just plain old pedestrian movement, she believes that anyone is capable of being a dancer but must first be able to tell a story. Her classes are challenging, thought provoking and sometimes you might cry, but it's the best kind of crying that helps you to blossom into the most authentic artist you can be.
